Volleyball is winding down and as it does I seem to be getting busier. Maybe it is just this week but man I am super busy. We had a training day on Monday, yesterday I taught, today we gave the PSAT, then tomorrow I teach / coach a volleyball tournament, Friday teach / coach a game, have a volleyball tournament on Saturday, and finally a family cookout. I am not complaining though. I love my job and my volleyball girls. I will have a month off before soccer season starts and frankly I need that break. I need to actually decorate where I am living, I need to see my family, I need to relax, and I need to get ahead teaching wise.
Christmas, I know, it isn't even November yet. I am a product of a divorced family. Don't feel sad for me though, I have the best parents. They have always put us first and kept it real simple. The problem is that my grandparents will be in New Mexico at their new vacation home over Christmas. We need to celebrate with them and my dad. So this is apparently the plan. Colton (my brother) and I will drive to New Mexico with my mom to hang out with my grandparents for a few days and ski. Then we will fly to Fort Worth for Christmas with my dad, which he celebrates on Christmas Eve. Then we will fly back to New Mexico to celebrate with my mom and grandparents. Ridiculous, I know.
My weekend was fabulous by the way. I am crazy about the boy. He makes me super happy. If a few things would change It would be perfect. I don't think he even knows I need the change to be perfect. I am afraid to tell him though because of his past of ruining our relationship when it gets to serious. (I think we are out of that stage though :-)) I just don't want to scare him off. Is that normal? Or is that a red flag I am missing? (I tend to do that a lot)
I cannot find my iPhone cord. When I do I will post pictures from this weekend.

My Fabulous Life
My life now isn't anything like I could have imagined. I am happy and content as can be. :-) I have a man who I am crazy about, a job I love, and friends that keep getting better. This woman is beyond blessed. My computer got fixed. I couldn't even begin to explain what went wrong with it but it works.
I am finally getting the hang of teaching two different subjects, coaching, and trying to have a social life. It has been hectic but I am pulling it off. I have only cried once about it all. The lack of crying isn't a streach. I don't generally cry unless I am beyond stressed out. I was that night. My volleyball girls have a tournament tomorrow, so I will be out of class all day!!!! I know, I literally just said I love my job. Then said, I was happy to be off tomorrow. Everyone needs a break sometimes, and tomorrow is mine.
Stories from school. Or otherwise known as, "I couldn't make this shit up."
We have practice at 9-11 on Saturday. One of my players walks in 11 minutes late.
"Girl, (won't use her name) your 11 minutes late. What happened?"
"Coach, its 9:11, I am on time."
In a huddle, in the middle of the game.
"Coach shuush, you are stressin' us out."
I litterally had a finger put to my mouth.
One of my students got suspended for fighting with a girl over a guy. Talking to another teacher about it.
"She needs to stop being a slut. That would solve half of her problems"
"BAHAHA" ====Me choking on my water
I will leave you with those nuggets. I really do love my job. I had to share the awesome things I hear on a daily basis. Please, don't think bad of me that I shared those. They were too funny to pass up.
I will be back on soon, since I have a slow day tomorrow!!!!

New Life
My life is pretty awesome these days. I have a job a love, family that makes me smile, and friends that keep getting better.
THE JOB:
I am beyond stressed with my job. The funny part is that I love teaching and coaching. I feel this surge of love every time I see my volleyball girls. Not in the creepy way, but in the I cannot wait to watch you grow up. Those girls make me smile every day, even when I am having an awful day. Teaching is proving to be a challenge. It isn't the teaching part, it is the paperwork part. I have lesson plans due every Monday at noon. Then I have to have all of my papers into the copy lady three days before I need them. It's the 1st week of school and I am so far behind already. I know I will figure this out. I just need a little time to get ahead. Hopefully, today is that day.
MY FAMILY:
They are fabulous. My cousin had her 2nd baby and he is so handsome. I spent the entire night with them the other night. I can't believe how happy being around a 2 year old, a baby, and a happily married couple, can make me. It gives me hope that one day I will have that kind of happiness.
MY FRIENDS:
It is amazing to watch as my friendships grow with me. My life is changing in a huge way and my friends are changing too. We are in the grown up boat together. It is fun to be going through this all at the same time. These huge life changes have made me love them more and more everyday.

| This is a horribly unflattering picture of me. My cat, Cali, woke me up by kissing me this morning. |
